Privacy Policy

The short version: this is a site you read. We collect very little, we sell nothing, and you can ask us to delete what we hold.

What is collected

• Server logs. Our host records ordinary request data — IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser and referring page. It is used to keep the site running and to identify abuse.
• Aggregate traffic counts. We look at which pages are read, in aggregate. This does not identify individual readers.
• Email you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message and address for as long as it takes to deal with it.

What is not collected

There are no accounts, so there is nothing to register. We take no payments and never handle card details. We run no advertising trackers and do not build profiles of readers across other sites.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers who host the site and deliver our email, and only to the extent they need it to do that work.

Cookies

The site does not require cookies to function and sets no advertising cookies. Any cookie present is strictly technical.

Your choices

Write to hello@trecricket.com to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Browser-level privacy and tracking controls apply here as anywhere else, and we will not attempt to work around them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the text on this page is updated. Continued use of the site after a change means the current version applies.
